Our group presents a collective effort of theorists from three different Universities in Greece, that collaborate intensively for over a decade in the research areas of Quantum and Nonlinear Optics, Quantum Control and Quantum Information Science, for studying the properties of novel nanoscale structures, like, for example, semiconductor quantum wells and quantum dots, coupled quantum-plasmonic nanostructures, molecular wires and switches, magnetic chains and metamaterials.

The members of the group have long experience and cover the research areas of interest from several directions, such as coherent control and quantum optics, accurate electromagnetic calculations at the microscale and nanoscale, electronic structure of semiconductor nanostructures and molecules, quantum coherence and interference effects in multi-level quantum systems, and solid state quantum information processing and communication.
